Chase Brackel scored his second of the game two minutes into quadruple overtime as Winnipeg beat Parkland 3-2 to even up their series at one game a piece. Tyler Derkach and Connor Dewar had the Ranger goals.

The Rangers had a number of chances to win it and controlled the contest throughout overtime. In total they outshot the Thrashers 73-58.

Head Coach Doug Hedley says they just need to forget about the loss and regroup for game three. There's not much time for rest, the two teams are back on the ice tonight in Winnipeg for the third game of the series.

All other Manitoba 'AAA' Midget Hockey League series resumed Wednesday and all of them are now tied at one as well. Interlake edged Brandon 5-4, Kenora beat the Winnipeg Wild 4-1 and Pembina Valley got by Eastman 4-3 in double overtime.
