The RM of Mossey River is reminding councillors to follow their code of conduct after censuring one of their members.
Councillor Larry Pascal was censured by council yesterday after allegations of deceiving council and ratepayers and ignoring previous warnings to stop doing as such.
Head of Council Kate Basford says the focus now for the rest of the councillors is to be united in their goal of serving their ratepayers.
"The rest of my council has worked very hard to be unified, to work as a whole with this new Mossey River. They seem to understand what the process is - the decision making process, how it works - they are not working as a self-entity that this is kind of, do whatever they want."
Pascal says "they're all against me and there's not much I can do now."
He is still permitted to participate in council meetings, but has been removed from all committees with the municipality.
