The Manitoba Government Employees Union is holding an information rally at the Dauphin hospital this afternoon.
MGEU president Michelle Gawronsky says this rally is to support the local health care support services union who have had concerns about safety and staff shortages for over two years.
Gawronsky says previous attempts to resolve these issues have been unsuccessful, which is why they are holding this rally.
"We attempt to try and resolve some of the issues, or at least ensure that management is aware that the issues are there with labour management meetings and unfortunately the management of the RHA has not been agreeable to have one meeting as labour management"
Today's rally will be in front of the hospital from 3:00pm to 5:00pm today.
