All money raised through Parkland memory walks stay in the Parkland, and there are more to come.
Dauphin had its Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba 2015 Investors Group Memory Walk last night.
Parkland resource coordinator Wanda Sime says $6,328 has already been raised through Dauphin's walk, and she says people can still donate.
"People can still go online and donate to people who have done the walk in the Parkland or just to the Parkland in general, and I will take donations here at my office. Send me an email here if you're interested."
Upcoming Parkland memory walks include one in Roblin and one in Grandview on Friday, a walk in Swan River on June 18, and a walk at the McCreary/Alonsa Health Care Unit on June 24.
Thirty people were registered for this year's walk in Dauphin and there were unregistered participants as well.
In relation to a story run on Monday, Sime says there were not 72 participants last year, but 72 waters were used.
