A fundraising walk for the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba takes place in Dauphin tomorrow night.
The Alzheimer's Society's 2015 Investors Group Memory Walk begins at 7 at the Dauphin Senior Centre, with registration at 6:30.
Wanda Sime, Parkland Resource Coordinator with the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, says there is no minimum to participate but encourages fundraising at least $25.
"It is a fundraiser but, I mean, we're certainly not going to say you can't go on the walk with us if you don't make $25. In order to get any of the prizes though, there are some limits-- a minimum requirement."
People can register for the event right up to 6:30 tomorrow night. Sime says people can gather pledges after the walk as well.
Sime says there were 72 participants last year and it would be great to beat that number.
