If you're walking past Dauphin City Hall or the Post Office today you may be asked to tell a story.

Charles Ketchabaw of FIXT POINT is currently parked outside City Hall with a mobile recording studio.

He's collecting stories for a project called The Tale of A Town, which celebrates Canada's main streets, downtowns, and gathering places.

"We welcome anybody to come in and talk to us about the main street here and stories that they remember, and thoughts on the future and what makes up the community here is basically what we're looking for," says Ketchabaw.

Ketchabaw will be parked outside City Hall until 1 today, then he will be at the post office from 1 to 4.

He says he wants to speak to Dauphin's oldest person.
