Volunteers are needed for a major production that will be taking place as part of the Grandview homecoming festival.
The festival will include a re-enactment of the history of the T.A. Burrows Lumber Company, including the arrival of Burrows to Grandview in the early 1900s.
Homecoming committee member Allan Yule, says this will be a big production that will require a lot people involved.
"The scene will be being set by a commentator who will be describing part of this before the actual T.A. Burrows arrival. About the same time, some logs will start to float down the Valley River with log drivers riding on them to steer them to signify the fact that for the first many years of the mill, the logs came down the Valley River in a spring log drive. These logs will be pulled to shore and eventually sawed up."
