The Dauphin Friendship Centre wants to know what the focus of programming in the Parkland should be.
A regional planning meeting is being held in the DFC's back hall at 5:45 tonight.
Executive Director Jeremy Smith says it will be a brainstorming session where they will be gathering people's input on what they think should be done and who should be involved in rolling out programming.
"The information we're trying to gather is more on overall aspects such as housing, education-- any kid of different programming for urban people to know what do they think our needs are right now and what do we need to plan for the future."
The meeting is supported through Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. Smith says similar meetings are being held in several friendship centres throughout Manitoba.
