The state of farming was on people's minds during the Outstanding Young Farmers of Manitoba Awards Banquet Saturday Night.
On hand to share some thoughts was Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski.
He feels the Ag industry is continuing to grow.
"It seems that the agricultural industry is just getting a lot more diverse. There's a whole lot more opportunity, not just in commodity production but Agri-business with different value adding. The markets are opening up now, the products that we can produce. There's just way more that we can be doing now."
