An author and librarian in Winnipegosis is one of three finalists for a prestigious award.
Deborah Delaronde is up for the Beatrice Mosionier Aboriginal Writer of the Year Award at the Manitoba Book Awards on April 25.
Delaronde says she is very excited and Mosionier is an inspiration for her.
She says it would be an honour to receive an award with Mosionier's name on it.
Jean-Louis Guillas, director of the Parkland Regional Library, says he's very proud of Delaronde's nomination for this award.
