After 16 months of fundraising for the Thomas Sill challenge, the Grandview Community Foundation is on their last couple of months to reach their $25,000 goal.
Currently they are sitting at $21,000.
Tresurer, Maureen Storey says it feels really good to almost be at their goal mark.
"We're just a small organization here you know, seven or eight board members kind of thing. There is not a lot of us. Obviously it is the community that has done it for us and supported us, so it's huge for us."
They will be canvassing around Grandview today from 6pm until 9pm.
All money donated stays in the community, will go towards their grants they give out every year, and stays within the foundation.
