Mountain View School Division says some progress has been made in its substitute teacher shortage, but work still needs to be done.
At a committee meeting last week, Superintendent Donna Davidson said a few subs have been hired in the past few months.
She says the board is also trying to improve the booking schedule for subs, and will soon be putting out a division-wide ad for new hirees.
The school board will be doing further reviews of the substitute teacher situation during their upcoming budget consultations.
