Louis Riel Capital Corporation is teaming up with Catalyst Credit Union to host a seminar aimed towards any Metis people who are looking to start up their own business.
Gerry Wheeler, VP of lending at Catalyst Credit Union, says that they will be presenting some business ideas, as well as helping people refine any business ideas that they might have as well.
"The net benefit after this is that two or three people will be interested in starting a new business and with this government program the credit union's going to be able to help fund some of these new start-ups."
The seminar takes place Feburary 2 at the Dauphin CountryFest Community Cinema. If you are interested in the event they do accept walk-ins, but are advised to sign up by calling the Catalyst Credit Union Office.
