A similar service will be held in Manitoba later this year.
Canada Looks to Rid World of Nuclear Weapons
The Federal Government has told the Canadian Press that Canada plans to kick-start a long-stalled international effort aimed at ridding the world of the key ingredients needed for nuclear weapons.
Canada's United Nations ambassador to Geneva is to spearhead the start of negotiations this week towards a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty.
The treaty would aim to control access to enriched uranium and plutonium, but the UN process towards it has been deadlocked.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to attend U.S. President Barack Obama's Nuclear Security Summit in the spring.
Canada's renewed focus on nuclear non-proliferation efforts has been in the works for months, but the effort has urgency because of North Korea's recent claim to have conducted a test of a hydrogen bomb.

Stevens says military officials came to retrieve the hard drive on Friday

French President Francois Hollande is among the leaders who attended the memorial at la Place de la Republique -- the site of what's become the unofficial place for public mourning.
Today's event closes a week of commemorations in France honouring those killed by extremists.
Drug Lord Movie
Friday's capture in Mexico of drug lord Joaquin Guzman appears to have a Hollywood twist.
Last year, Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn met with Guzman at a hideout to talk about the drug kingpin's desire to have a movie made about himself.
Authorities say the secret meeting helped them track down Guzman, who escaped from a maximum-security prison in Mexico six months ago.
Mexican officials have set the wheels in motion to extradite Guzman to the United States, where he would stand trial
