A collision between a semi and a car west of Dauphin on Highway 5 this morning has claimed the life of a 58-year-old man.
RCMP say the man, who was driving the car, was taken to hospital and pronounced dead. The driver of the semi is unharmed.
The investigation continues but alcohol is not considered a factor.
Highway 5 near the Ashville junction was shut down to traffic for about three hours today following the collision.
