A helicopter that flies over Countryfest has seen a thing or two.
Prairie Helicopters aircraft maintenance engineer Blair Obsniuk says their helicopters see everything from polar bear tours in Churchill to fighting fires to Countryfest.
He says they are always on-call with the Manitoba fire program.
"They use it for many roles, from moving people and equipment to applying water with a-- it's called a Bambi Bucket-- with the aircraft."
As for Obsniuk, after Countryfest, he went to Bissett to service a helicopter there.
He has been coming to Countryfest with Prairie Helicopters for nine years.
