Saskatchewan Party Gets Another Majority
It's a three-peat for Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall.
Wall and his Saskatchewan party will form the government again after a resounding victory in last night's provincial election.
He says his advocacy for the province will not flag and people can expect his government to stand up for Saskatchewan's interests in every sector of the economy every time it's challenged.
The NDP added one seat to their total but leader Cam Broten lost the race in his riding.

Manitoba Election Campaign
Manitoba's Conservative leader says if his party forms the next government, he will raise income tax brackets along with the rate of inflation every year.
Brian Pallister says he will also raise the personal basic exemption -- the threshold at which people start paying income tax.
NDP Leader Greg Selinger is promising better job training by covering course fees and living expenses for 1,500 more apprenticeship students each year.
Monday was a bad day for the Manitoba Liberals.
They fired a candidate in the Elmwood constituency after new accusations related to an 2002 assault conviction surfaced, while a poll released by Insight Manitoba suggested they have dropped to third place.
The election will take place April 19.

No Word on Charges After Elderly Couple Found Beaten in Selkirk Home
A man has been arrested after an elderly couple were found badly beaten in their home in Selkirk on the weekend.
The victims, an 88-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman, were taken to hospital in stable but serious condition.
RCMP said shortly after they received a call about the assault, they received a second call about a suspicious man in the area.
He was taken into custody but there is no word as to whether charges have been laid.

Newcomers to Parkland Regional Library
The Parkland Regional Library's catalogue is getting bigger with the addition of Ste. Rose and Eriksdale libraries.
Library director Jean-Louis Guillas says Ste. Rose will take a bit longer, but people will be able to see Eriksdale's collection in the Parkland catalogue in the first week of May.
Guillas says they're happy to have both of those locations, with bookmobile service ending at the end of June.
"It's really important for us to look at where we have service gaps and see where we can serve communities through our strong library branch system."
Guillas says Eriksdale will help Parkland regional serve people in the RM of Grahamdale, which is currently served by bookmobile. The same is true for Ste Rose and Rorketon.

City Council Gets A Poetry Break
In their own words, Dauphin's city council was informed and inspired by a performance from a local wordsmith and historian at yesterday's council meeting.
Ed Stozek was invited to read poetry as part of the city mayor's poetry challenge. He read his own The Time That Was and played his song Kippan's Mill.
Stozek says he wrote The Time That Was many years ago, and it's the title of a poetry book he released in 2003.
His song Kippan's Mill would serve as inspiration for a documentary he later made called The Sawmill Boys and Alex Kippan.
